Testimonials
Xala is one of the most thoughtful artists that I’ve encountered. She goes beyond her call of duty to ensure that the art she created accurately represents the communities she works with and the stories she aims to amplify. It is palatable, vibrant and makes you want to consume the content.
Her work is easy to spot because the care she puts in is familiar, everything she incorporates in her art is meaningful.

Absolutely brilliant. Xala is a wonderful, soulful artist whose attention to detail, context, story and culture make her work stand out. The work is unique, relatable and has appeal across demographic lines. She is very thoughtful and mindful in creating illustrations that are inclusive and diverse.
At the heart of the work is a tangible core of caring, a humanitarian feel, that infuses Xala’s art and communicates to the viewing audience.
It’s always a pleasure working with her.
